Mesh (silkscreen) Cake Stencils

Mesh stencils are designs that would work best without having to bridge them. Māori designs with those intricate Koru swirls, Polynesian patterns which look best with uninterrupted lines and other designs where bridgework would detract from the design.

We make a lot of font and logo designs in mesh which are best airbrushed, although soft royal icing does work well, especially the darker colours. Petal and Metallic dusts look fabulous when burnished in with a soft brush.

Please ensure you use a WATER BASED paint if spray painting using our Mesh stencils to avoid degradation of the vinyl used.

They are time consuming to make (an 8 part process rather than a 4 part process for normal stencils - start to finish) so this is obviously reflected in the price.
