PYO - Paint Your Own

PYO or Paint Your Own cookies are very popular as they engage children (and adults) in both a gift and a tasty treat.

ibicci PYO stencils are a mix of normal stencils and MESH stencils. Mesh stencils use a softer icing than is normal (which is toothpaste consistency) and is swiped through the stencil then the residue scraped off. The beauty of mesh stencils is they keep all design lines and do not need 'bridges' to hold the design together.

PYO paint palettes are either built into the cookie using dots of icing, M&Ms, or as separate cookie/s as shown in the photos below (I hand piped the mermaid design directly into flood icing) Small paintbrushes are normally supplied along with instructions - apply a little water to the palette colour, paint the cookie, rinse and repeat.
