Ever since Cari released the All in One Plaque I've had it in the back of my mind to do a stencil up for it and Finally here it is - a pack of 5 layers/6 parts stencils for the very popular 4" and also for the 5" cutters
Designed in 5 stencils with 6 parts, this stencil pack gives you several options for decorating your All in One (I still call it a Onesie) plaque or announcement cookies.
Base Layer - use either piece of the stencil as a guide to score lines on your naked cookie prior to flooding (you can even do it wet beside wet), or use as a score guide once the cookie is flooded.
- By using the open stencil, you can airbrush the plaque side, or by carefully weighting down the cut-out part, you can airbrush or dust the Onesie part of the cookie (see fondant examples below where I have dusted the flooded cookies)
Onesie Layer 2 - This gives you detailing for the Onesie side of the cookie, plus outline dots but no lines thus allowing free form text or one of the 2 Word Layer stencils included in this pack.
Onesie Layer 3 - This gives you detailing for the Onesie plus lines and a dotted border for the plaque side. Again, you can free form or pipe the baby's name, or use one of the 2 word stencils included in this pack. - NOTE: THERE IS NOW AN OPTION TO PURCHASE THIS AS A ONE PART
Word Layer 1 - 'He or She What will it Be?' I included this wording to match Cari's original design picture and it works so well inside the shape for baby showers
Word Layer 2 - 'Hello Baby' This can be used where the baby's sex is known, or as a general cookie in a set of baby cookies.
Before having a chance to bake cookies, I used rolled out fondant to check the placement and how the 5 pack stencils worked out - See below.
In both of these examples, the Base Layer parts were used to Dust one side or the other, before airbrushing the remaining parts.
The final wording could have been done by royal stencilling too as could the onesie details as they are far enough away from the plaque details.
When I get a chance I'll have further examples for you.
Ideal for airbrushing, stencilling with royal icing or for crafts
Stencils are quick to use and enhance the cookies or cakes you are decorating. Common ways of using stencils are with magnetic frames such as the Stencil Genie or Stencil Snap, by using magnets on the corners of the stencils, or simply held by hand or with weights. Cake stencils can be taped, pinned or held in place with the use of net. ibicci stencils are primarily made for decorating cookies and cakes however the stencils can be used to apply designs on a wide variety of surfaces including paper, card, walls, wood, fabric, glass etc.
The ibicci Square stencils measure approximately 5.5" / 14.2cm square and fits the Stencil Genie as shown. ibicci stencils are made out of reusable, sturdy food safe .007mil plastic.
The ibicci Landscape stencils measure approximately 5.5"x8” / 14x20cm and can be used with both the Stencil Genie and the Stencil Snap. Multiple design stencils fit in the Stencil Genie, allowing designs to be moved within. ibicci stencils are made out of reusable, sturdy food safe .007mil plastic
Care: Rinse gently with warm water, Do Not use hot water as this may cause warping. Lay flat to dry or pat dry with paper towels.
